Hello stamping friends! Do you have the most recent Stampin’ Up! catalogs? Having these catalogs handy just for ideas is a blessing some days, especially when I need to get the create juices flowing! Do you have those days?
I have quite the stash of catalogs in my craft room for inspiration. It’s also fun to sit and look through the older catalogs to see how much the artwork has changed over the years.
If you would like to take a peek at the freebies you can get along with a $50 purchase from any one of the current catalogs, contact me ASAP! Sale-a-Bration is coming to a close on March 31st. It’s not too late to stock up on supplies and get a free stamp set! OR, you can shop in my online shop here if you like. Although I think it’s much more fun to have that catalog in your hands.
Happy stamping!

March Mini Calendar 2019
Hello March! I CANNOT believe that March is here already. We have had ugly weather here in Pennsylvania the last few weeks and I think everyone is ready for spring to start moving in. Above is a picture of my March page for my 2019 Mini Calendar that I create every year.
This stamp is from the Mediterranean Moments Stamp Set featured in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. I simply stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then colored in with my Stampin’ Blends. I used Crumb Cake, Balmy Blue and Pear Pizzzaz Blends.
Send me a note if you’d like to learn more about making a mini calendar for yourself. You can click here to shop for any of the supplies that I mentioned above in creating this page. It’s never too early to start for the next year!
Hope you enjoyed my March Mini Calendar 2019 page today. Happy stamping!

Quick Notecard Box
Do you need a gift that you can quickly make? I have a tutorial for you today showing you how to make a quick notecard box. These are great for hostess gifts, or it’s not too early to start thinking about those teacher gifts that you will need in June!
Paper Dimensions:
Whisper White Cardstock 7-1/2″ x 5-1/2″; scored at 3-3/4″; scraps
Night of Navy Cardstock 6-1/2″ x 6-1/2″
Happiness Blooms DSP 8-1/2″ x 2-1/4″; scored at 2-1/4″, 2-1/2″, 6-1/4″, 6-1/2″
Instructions:
- Cut the Night of Navy cardstock to 6-1/2″ x 6-1/2″.
- Using the Envelope Punch Board, line the left side of your paper up at the 3″ mark and punch and score. Move the paper to the 3-1/2″ mark and do the same. Rotate the paper 90 degrees, lining up the score lines and repeat. Do this until you have all four sides scored and punched.
- Looking at the picture above, cut out the squares in the corner on two of the sides so that the box fits together easily.
- The Envelope Punch Board comes with a handy corner rounder. You can round each corner if you like.
- Crease the lines on three sides of your paper, leaving the one side unfolded. This will be the top of your box.
- Assemble the box using Tear & Tape (see above picture for placement of tape).
- You are now ready to decorate the notecard box as you wish.
- I created a belly band using the Happiness Blooms DSP. Attach this to the outside of your box, then stamp the “so many of my smiles begin with you” from the Detailed with Love Stamp Set in Night of Navy and cut out using the oval shaped stitched framelit.
- Stamp a flower from the Bloom by Bloom Stamp Set in Pineapple Punch and Night of Navy inks and then fussy cut.
- To finish up, I added a bow using the Night of Navy Medium Baker’s Twine.
- I then made a few notecards using the Bloom by Bloom Stamp to add to the box.
There you have it! A quick notecard box for gift giving! Below is a list of the Stampin’ Up! products that I used.

Inspire, Create & Share
Inspire, Create & Share! That’s what it’s all about, right? I started this blog so that I could share all of my creations and ideas with you. Although, I must admit that this blogging thing has been quite the learning curve for me (and still is). Google, WordPress Support, BlueHost Support–they all have become my best friends in this journey.
However, I am determined to keep learning because I love paper crafting and want to share it with you. I chose to be a demonstrator with Stampin’ Up! because of their wonderful reputation and 30 years of experience! Yes, 30 years! How many other paper companies can say that? Stampin’ Up! is known for it’s coordination of products across the board (think ink, paper, ribbons, embellishments) and top-notch quality.
When I first became a demonstrator I thought, oh, I will just go to Michaels with my 40% off coupon and find some items to coordinate with my Stampin’ Up! project that I’m working on. Nope! It doesn’t happen. No matter how hard you try, the paper just does not quite match. I cannot tell you the last time I stepped into Michaels to buy scrapbooking or stamping supplies. It’s been a looong time!!
So, what would you like to see here on my blog? I would be so grateful if you would post a comment below to let me know. After all, I am here to inspire you, create amazing things and share them with you! Happy stamping!

Valentine for my daughter
Hello stamping friends! Hope you all had a great weekend. Ours was a little quiet, which was okay with me. Our kiddos are old enough now to be out on their own with their friends and my husband and I are starting to get a taste of the empty nest feeling. It’s kind of nice — we can go out to eat and the food bill is now cut in half! Today I am sharing with you the Valentine’s card I made for my daughter.
I did CASE some of this card from another Stampin’ Up! demonstrator out there in the blog world. I took the sentiment on the front of the card from the Vibrant Vases stamp set. I always want my daughter to know that she is loved. This was the perfect sentiment!
Have a great week and hope you enjoyed this card. Stop by tomorrow – I will be sharing the card that I made for my son.
Happy stamping,
Wendy

February Class to Go!
This month I am offering a Class to Go with the Happy Tails Bundle. One of my favorites from the new All Occasion catalog! All of the above projects have been designed by me.
I will then purchase the products and prepare the kits and package them up for either shipping or pick up.
How a Class to Go works:
I will offer a Class to Go for one month. I will select the stamp set or bundle, design some projects and offer various purchase options. Pre-payment is necessary, by PayPal, Square or in person. If you’re not local to me, there will be an added $8 for priority and insured shipping. If you’re local to me you can pick up your kit at my house. I will set a deadline for ordering. I will also provide a list of items needed to complete the kits, i.e. inks, special adhesive, etc. You have the option to add these extra items to your order, if needed.
You will then receive an email from me that your kit has shipped and the password to access the tutorials here on my blog.
Once the deadline has passed, you will only be able to purchase the tutorials. As long as the products used in the Class to Go are still available from Stampin’ Up! you will still be able to make the projects.
I am only offering these projects online. We will not make these projects in any of my classes.

Why Stamping…
Hello stamping friends! Today I thought I’d share with you how I got started stamping.
Starting in 2003 I had a vendor booth at a place in a town close to me where I sold mini paper bag scrapbooks and cards. These scrapbooks and cards were primarily made with all the fun scrapbook paper, embellishments from all the craft stores and things I made using my Silhouette.
Then, in the summer of 2005 I went to a Stampin’ Up! Card class. After that class, I started thinking about how I could sign up as a demonstrator and use SU’s products for my scrapbooks and cards and get a discount.
Well, as they say, the rest is history… I did sign up as a demonstrator later that summer. It wasn’t until the following year that I decided to invite my friends over and start having classes. It was a blast sharing my love of creating with both old and new friends!
My upline connection then asked me to help out with a weekly Tuesday morning library class. I helped her for approximately three years until I decided it was time to branch out on my own. I now hold library classes myself at our local library and have met even more new friends.
Having classes with my stamping friends has always been a pleasure for me. I enjoy the time I get to stamp with other people and I’ve also met a lot of nice ladies. Stamping has always been relaxing for me. When I’m stressed I go to my stamp room. I never get tired of stamping and creating! Forget cleaning the house, etc. I’d rather be stamping!
If you have a moment, send me a note in the comments below and let me know how you got started stamping and what it means to you. I’d love to hear from you all.

Happy February!
One month down already in 2019. I’m kind of happy about it since my January was mostly being sick! I’m ready to move on. Today I’m sharing a pic of my February page from my mini calendar that I make every year.
February is the month of “love”, so of course my calendar has lots of hearts! Stay warm my friends. Here in Pennsylvania, it was -6 degrees this morning at 8:00 am. It is nasty out there and the kiddos are home for the second day. I may have to recruit them for some of my Big Shot work!
Enjoy your day. I will be back the beginning of the week with a February class to go featuring the Happy Tails Bundle. Stay tuned…I think you’re going to love it!
