OnStage 2017 – Richmond

Hello stamping friends!  I thought I’d share with you today some pics from our trip to Richmond, Virginia for the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event this past weekend.  We had so much fun getting to play with new product and see the new in-colors.

See the pics below?  This is what they do to us!  They put new product and projects on the table, but we’re not able to open them until they give us permission!  It always drives us crazy!!

This is a shot of our table at the beginning of the day…

See those colors in the pic on the left?  They are the new in-colors for 2017-2019.  What do you think?  The names of the colors from left to right are Powder Pink, Fresh Fig, Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide.  I think my favorite (today) is Lemon Lime Twist.  I’ve been waiting for a bright green!

Remember that I had  a teaser post with the closed Stampin’ Up! box before I left for OnStage?  I was chosen to be a display board stamper back in January.  This means that I received a box of all new product from  Stampin’ Up! to play with and come up with samples for the display board at OnStage.  Below is a pic of my samples, along with the samples from other demonstrators. My samples are at the top on the picture to the left.  My friend, and traveling companion, Megan, has her display samples in the pic on the right.

It’s always fun to meet new stampers when going to these events.  Sarah, from Arizona  and Jenny from New Jersey joined us at our table this year. That’s me on the far left, then Megan, Ria, Sarah and Jenny.

Funny story for you ~ when I was getting ready on Saturday morning for the event, I realized that I only had the correct contact for my right eye.  My prescription for my contacts is different for each eye.  One is for close up and the other is for my distance.  I had two right eye contacts and none for the left eye.  I was so bummed!  I wore both right eye contacts,  but I was without distance for the entire day.  I could not even drive my car home.  Poor Ria got stuck with the four hour drive herself.

Here are some more fun pics from the day! More display board samples and us having fun in the photo booth!
